Our friend Leah loves to call Julia "Little Lori". Maybe it's just me, but I think you can really see the Lorisemblance in this picture.
I mean, except she's smaller than Lori. And has less hair. And she wears footie pajamas all day long.
Lori hasn't worn footie pajamas in at least a few ... months?
Didn't think we could top the action from the last video, did you?
Yeah. We did.
Note: She makes a really cute noise around 53 seconds into the clip.
And so begins the era of us putting movies on the site (or "talking pictures" as they are known in some parts).
We'll lead off with one I like to call "Julia Goes Batty on her Glider" (2008).
One of these days I'll work on the production values a bit (I envy the video team at Todd & Devon's site).
Our little Drool Monster, just moments after mommy came home tonight. She really likes mommy.
It is as true today as it was in 1977 - TO GET CLEAN, BABIES NEED BATHS™.
And who better to give babies their baths than Julia's Grammie, who appears to have kept the same baby-bathing tub for the past thirty years.
It also looks as though "foaming soap" was invented sometime between 1977 and 2007 ... come to think of it, aside from being naked and in water, it doesn't look like Lori's really having much of a bath at all! Maybe they just used to put her in the water so she would do her impression of Lex Luthor.
We had a few shots of Lori's baptism kickin' around the house, so here they are for comparison's sake. Note that Lori and Julia are wearing the same christening gown!
