Hello, Mimi (and more)

It was a busy third week for Julia as she spent a few days in Albany, met her Mimi who's visiting from North Carolina, and her three cousins from Wayland.

Cody says it all

Yep. We're tired.

Julia, Week Two

She's only two weeks old and she's changing like crazy every day. She can hold her head up pretty easily all on her own, and she has a thing about staring at pictures on the wall.

Aside from that, she's burping, farting, and sneezing like she's being paid to do it. How could we not love that? Click the picture (or here) for a gallery.

Yes, this is where I work

MathWorkers are notorious for decorating people's offices when they're away on vacation, celebrating milestones (birthdays, company anniversaries, etc.), and out on paternity/maternity leave.

It wasn't enough that my group already threw us a baby shower a few weeks ago ... while I was out on paternity, they went one step further! This was my office upon arrival back at work this morning:

Note the images of Julia, printed straight from this site!

It was determined that every new father needs "a little help" after a long day.

Confetti, streamers, balloons, bubble-gum cigars, and posters abound.

Big thanks to everyone involved! Especially Helen, who came in ON A SUNDAY to add the finishing touches. Unreal, and greatly appreciated!

She's ready for her close-up

More pictures; from the last days in the hospital, to her ride home, to her first night in the house.

Taken away your dignity, we have

Cody didn't get to wear his costume on Halloween night this year ... but a day late is better than never.

"Seriously. I hate you guys."
